Well you may have heard stories in the press about ransom requests by hackers/crooks who take over your website and demand a ransom to release it, its happened to banks big companies and us yes us.
2018 everything went blank then the demands started luckily we have always kept our systems secure and the thing like credit card details customer details were on different systems not on a webpage they were not stored on websites, the only thing we sourced out was website and the Russians hacked it so what we did was contact members change them over to another behind the scenes website and carried on but it was very amusing to see the forums/social media go into meltdown about us going bust lol all the snakes crawled out to have there say and it was quite amusing to see these trolls getting it so wrong. The only thing is we could not take any new members because they could not see our website so we decided why don't we shut everything down get back our web addresses in time, concentrate on the Artificial intelligence system we had been developing and come back when we are ready that time has arrived again.
Lessons learned ? we quietly carried on but we dont have to take any new members on to survive and in fact we have been getting prices and major gambles pulled off with the public no wiser to who was behind it and what we realized is we can carry on in the dark behind the scenes but one big thing emerged, when you are the best at something the satisfaction is strange the money is in the bag the back slapping is over but we have no bragging rights.
Our racing post adverts showed off the success the satisfaction of being the best, beating everyone else quite comfortably, the bragging rights when youve been used to them you do miss them and your at the top of the game the best there is.
